NOTICE OF GENERAL MEETING – January 18, 2021 7:00pm

SUBJECT: Notice of Special General Meeting

FORWARD:

As part of the original Amalgamation Agreement between PGWSA and NCSSL, a three season period was a grace period to determining success as an amalgamated Association. Upon a three season period (2021) the membership will vote at a Special General Meeting to solidify the permanency of the amalgamation. This vote will occur right before the 2021 AGM.

If the membership determines that the amalgamation was a success and to continue as an amalgamated Association, all assets and liabilities will become as one.

If the membership determines that the amalgamation was not successful and vote to ‘revert’ back to the original form as separate Mens and Womens Associations, the Board will prepare for the process to do so.

Pre registration is required. Pre registration email to follow closer to the date. This assists us in pre qualifying registration and maintain a count of attendees (same as signing in at an in person meeting).

In accordance with Prince George Soccer Association (PGSA) Bylaws, please accept this email as formal notice of a PGSA Special General Meeting to be held:

DATE: Monday, January 18th, 2021 (AGM to follow at 7:30pm)

TIME: 7:00PM (check in begins at 6:45pm)

LOCATION: Virtually via Zoom Video-Conferencing

PURPOSE: To vote on solidifying the permanency of the Amalgamation between the Prince George Women’s Soccer Association and North Cariboo Senior Soccer Association as one organization, namely the Prince George Soccer Association.

NOTE: The meeting will be facilitated through electronic means using Zoom conferencing with an online voting platform (details and access to be provided closer to the Special General Meeting date). Pre-registration will be required.
